Wincor Nixdorf Inc. today announced that it has expanded its BEETLE/Fusion product line of touch-based point-of-sale systems.
The expanded all-in-one, touch-based POS system line is now more adaptable and integrates more peripheral options than any other POS device, the company said.

"Our POS systems, as illustrated with our latest advancement in the BEETLE/Fusion product, validate this commitment by delivering speed, dependability and superior design quality."
The new BEETLE/Fusion product offers a more extensive range of peripherals that can be integrated into almost any retail environment, the company said. New product features include an 18.5-inch display screen, a biometric reader and an integrated scanner.
Using Intel's embedded technology, the BEETLE/Fusion now offers four choices of energy-efficient processors, from the 1.0 GHz Celeron M to the latest 2 X 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo P8400. The solutions also feature an expansive range of peripherals, operating systems and applications.
