Target today announced its first app for iPad is available now on the App Store. The retailer said the app provides a rich and interactive shopping experience, which takes full advantage of iPad's large, high-resolution screen and multi-touch interface.
"Target is creating highly-relevant and differentiated shopping solutions that simplify our guests lives, enabling them to shop Target on their terms — anywhere and anytime," said Steve Eastman, president, Target.com. "The Weekly Ad and list-making features on the Target App for iPad are especially engaging, and we are confident that our guests will love the app’s cool design and unique features as they plan their Holiday shopping trips."
With the Target App for iPad, guests can:
- build, share and update a shopping list
- flip through the pages of the Weekly Ad, Holiday 2010 Catalog and Holiday Toy Catalog
- drag & drop products from the Weekly Ad and catalogs into a shopping list
- search and browse Target.com products (i.e., view item details, read reviews, find item availability at a local Target store, buy from Target.com)
- browse exclusive offers and seasonal content
- stream Target-exclusive Holiday music
- locate their nearest Target store and its hours and services
- interact with Bullseye the Target dog bobblehead
The Target App for iPad is available at no charge from the App Store on iPad.
