Planar Systems, a company that provides specialty display technology, introduced its line of projective capacitive touch-screen LCD monitors last week at the National Retail Federations' Big Show in New York City.

The bezel-free monitors are designed to meet the demands of high-traffic, point-of-sale, point-of-purchase and public-access environments, said Matt Walsh, when we interviewed him at the Planar booth. He also pointed out that their durability make them perfect for kiosk environments.
