MICROS-Retail, a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. and provider of retail technology, announced the release of XBR Loss Prevention and Store Analytics version 7.0 and Balance Sales Audit version 7.0 yesterday.
XBR version 7.0 is designed to expand behavioral data analysis, pinpoint exceptions and broaden application reach, while Balance version 7.0 expands audit trail functionality.
The new XBR version intends to help retailers add advanced analytics, gain faster access and provide greater transparency into store operations.
“We’ve added a number of features and enhancements to XBR to improve the user experience and increase the reach of the application,” said MICROS-Retail product manager Scott Matza. “The new report rendering, window management and capability to link to digital video provide a significant boost to the web client and will help field users and investigators resolve cases faster in today’s retail world.”
Balance provides query tracking that records individual user reports. Additional enhancements include the application’s bank reconciliation module and visibility surrounding data polling. Balance also automates much of the sales auditing and correction process.
