According to DDi Online, Kidlandia, a San Francisco-based company that lets kids personalize fantasy maps to create their own "kingdoms," has opened its first in-store boutique at FAO Schwarz in New York City.

Children can select maps from Kidlandia designs, or choose maps that feature Disney or Nickelodeon characters to name their own cities, islands and other features. The Kidlandia kiosks are staffed by FAO Schwarz associates. 

Kidlandia also has an online retail presence with the Disney Store and Pottery Barn.
