AVT Inc., formerly Automated Vending Technologies, has partnered with Luxury Automated Retail, a Los Angeles-based distributor of high-end self-service systems, to manufacture units for worldwide use.
The interactive, automated units will offer an assortment of luxury and personal-care items, such as designer perfumes and cosmetics, consumer electronics, swimsuits and lingerie, video games, sunglasses, cameras and more.
AVT's custom vending systems feature interactive LED lighting, and an internal elevator that delivers the products to the customers. A touchscreen interface displays brand profiles and ingredients, and also offers a short video demonstration.
AVT and Luxury Automated Retail plan to install these automated stores in upscale and boutique hotels, casinos, nightclubs, premium shopping malls and airports throughout the world.
