UniteU Technologies, an ecommerce provider, has released its web-services Retail API, which provides an open integration path for merchants and third-party developers to utilize UniteU’s Connected Commerce platform.
Retail API provides access to ecommerce functionality without having to develop and maintain a fully PCI compliant ecommerce platform, and without the costs of providing 24/7/365 operations for the platform.
The Retail API also enables the integration of back-office and retail management systems with UniteU. The API can be used to augment retail management and point-of-sale (POS) integrations, along with providing custom integration paths for systems not currently available off-the-shelf from UniteU.
UniteU’s Retail API supports the following data:
• Catalog (products, departments, variants, searchable attributes, inventory, cross promotions, site maps)
• Asset Management (images, multimedia, PDFs)
• Reviews and Ratings
• Content
• Shoppers
• Shopping Cart (wish-lists, ship-to/bill-to info, comments)
• Checkout (shipping rates, taxes, promotions, payment options, secure purchase, gift wrap)
• Orders
