Acculynk, Alaska USA FCU and Alaska Option today announced that Alaska USA will add Internet PIN debit through Acculynk's PaySecure network. This will allow Alaska USA cardholders to use their debit card and CU-issued PIN at participating online merchants.
With PaySecure, online shoppers can authenticate their card simply by entering their PIN on a graphical pad at the merchant checkout. No other hardware device, password, enrollment, or website redirection for authentication is required.
In addition to adopting Internet PIN debit, Alaska USA will be one of the first issuers to sign on as a pilot for Acculynk's PIN debit-based P2P offering, which lets consumers use their smartphone and PIN debit card to make and receive personal payments via their credit union or bank.

Currently PaySecure is used on more than 3,000 merchant websites. Acculynk has partnerships with 9 EFT networks and six payment processors to process PaySecure transactions.
