Upscale jewelry store London Jewelers was awarded first place in INSTORE Magazine’s annual “America’s Coolest Store” contest. The award honors design excellence in the luxury jewelry retail industry
Founded in 1984, London Jewelers has built a brand based on quality, service and a welcoming, familial atmosphere, according to a Callison press release. To create a warm, inviting environment for its newest location in Manhasset, Long Island, the company turned to Callison RYA for design. With five separate boutiques spread across 15,000 square-feet, the design is based on an open, flowing floor plan that invites customers to explore and relax as they meander through a series of intimate spaces.
Design elements:
- Flow: Curved display cases and a dramatic circular staircase encourage flow and provide elegant anchors that tie the rooms and create a seamless look
- Craftsmanship: Custom made carpets, wood paneling and tapestries
- Elegance: Floor-to-ceiling windows, high ceilings and chandeliers
