DigitalPost Interactive has announced a contract with privately held Ritz Camera & Image Inc., America's premier imaging retail destination, to develop an online video gallery based on DigitalPost's award-winning interactive digital media platform, according to a company release.
Scheduled for a late second-quarter 2010 launch, Ritz Camera & Image's consumer Web site, www.RitzPix.com, will feature advanced video technology that enables subscribers (amateurs and professionals) to upload any type of video files to a personalized "Video Gallery" to organize, manage, edit, share and store video content in a secure environment.
"With the addition of a video solution, subscribers will be able to host and share both videos and photos seamlessly in a single destination," said Peter Tahmin, vice president of RitzPix.com. "In a future phase, subscribers will also be able to access, manage and share their video galleries through approximately 2,000 kiosks located in more than 300 Ritz Camera stores throughout the United States."
Ritz & Wolf Camera & Image is ranked by Consumer Reports as a top five electronics store, and is the highest ranking destination for camera and imaging products based on service, product quality and buying ease.
