England-based Retail Week reports that Amazon UK is offering free shipping on all orders between now and Jan. 1, 2010.

The promotion temporarily replaces the 5-pound threshold ordinarily needed to get free shipping.

The offer only applies to products actually fulfilled by Amazon, not products sold by third parties.
