HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Sears Holdings Corp. announced the unification of its multichannel services under an initiative dubbed ShopYourWay. Both Sears and Kmart customers can now experience multichannel purchase opportunities in stores and online.
ShopYourWay provides the Sears and Kmart assortment of brands, products and services of any store online or offline through Sears.com and Kmart.com, Sears2go, Web to Store, Store to Web, 1-800-4-MY-HOME and in-store visits.
"ShopYourWay revolves around the lives of our customers," said Richard Gerstein, Sears Holdings Corp.'s senior vice president, marketing. "By letting their schedules determine the way they shop, our customers can take advantage of making purchases in-store, online, over the phone and with mobile capabilities. ShopYourWay empowers our customers to manage their lives by providing them with unique services, expanded selections and the best prices."
Sears Holdings Corp.'s online platform was recently named by e-tailing group, Inc. as the top Web site in its "e-commerce gauge" survey. Sears.com soared to number one in the survey of online users with a total score of 88.25 out of 100, up 21 percent from last year, the largest increase of any online retailer.
Features of ShopYourWay include:
- Sears Web to Store: Lets customers buy online and pick up from their choice of local stores, saving shipping charges and in many cases, the product is available for pick up the same day.
- Web to Store provides multiple options for pick up - including in-store, curbside and third-party pickup options — all with the Ready in Five guarantee. Most Sears' locations also allow customers the option of curbside pick up from designated parking spaces.
- Sears Store to Web: If a customer is in-store and unable to find an item, size or color they are seeking, they can go to a Web kiosk to find an expanded assortment on Sears.com with more than three million products. If ordered from the store, shipping is free within the continental U.S.
- Sears2Go: Mobile commerce Web site that enables customers to find and buy select Sears.com merchandise from their mobile phone 24/7.
