SINGAPORE — Linux-based digital signage provider 1-2-1VIEW will be rolling out a network of sites with a classified ads section for 33 outlets of the Tigas pharmacy chain to be deployed within Kuala Lumpur, with view for expansion to outlets throughout Malaysia.
In a bid to generate greater viewership attention and advertising revenue, major pharmacy chain Tigas will be installing a digital signage network with a community classified ads section partitioned on the display screens. Store patrons or other interested parties will be able to send short text messages and graphics via their mobile phones or computers to post personal items for sale on the digital signage displays.
Utilizing 1-2-1VIEW's Ninja N406 high-definition media players, the network will also employ 1-2-1VIEW's updated software version 3.3 that will provide well-defined content control on the digital signage network with identifiers based on brand of content and outlet locations as well as geographic grouping of sites for detailed localization of content.
The system will also run 1-2-1VIEW's InterFace 2.0 viewer counting technology that will measure audience viewership and attention span based on gender and age group, providing greater efficacy of content for its advertisers. The attached web cameras will also detect Opportunity-To-See audience to determine network foot traffic throughout all outlets, including the dwell time of customers in front of the screens.
Additionally, the network will also run a powerful content logging engine that will provide detailed media playlist reports, exportable into graphic format for highly accountable billing superimposed over viewer traffic volume and audience count.
The pilot rollout is expected to be completed by January 2009 with an expanded rollout during the year.
