• Walmart honors HP for Pavilion packaging

The Channel Wire: Walmart named Hewlett-Packard the winner of its Home Entertainment Design Challenge earlier this week, for HP's clever packaging scheme for its Pavilion dv6929 notebook. Rather than shipping notebooks with bubble wrap, cardboard and other packaging that most consumers have gotten used to, HP is packaging the notebook in a messenger bag that holds all the peripherals and reduces packaging by 97 percent.
