Nike recently opened its first "NikeID Studio" in London, following similar installations in New York City, Paris and Osaka. The concept connects the in-store shopping experience with online; customers can build the shoe of their dreams at home on their computers, or at a touchscreen window at the front of the store. Designs are saved in a "virtual locker," and the finished product can be picked up in the store or delivered to the customer's home.
