Retail intelligence technology group Cogenta announced it has launched a multi-national version of its cloud-based Retail Insight platform. According to the company, the pricing intelligence application is the first system to enable international retailers, manufacturers, brand managers and market researchers to monitor consumer goods pricing data from major economic centers in 24 countries across the globe, including Europe and the Americas. The platform can manage price data collections in any language.
"Retail Insight is a product of Cogenta's extensive work with our customers to understand their current and future needs," said Cogenta CEO Adrian Hobbs. "It is already the leading system in the UK for delivering the rapid price analyses that our customers can use to gain a real competitive edge. By working closely with those customers who have extensive overseas requirements, we have now been able to extend the platform and offer a unique international solution across 24 major economic centers. This is a huge leap forwards and allows retailers to gain a level of insight that previously did not exist. It also opens channels for us with major international brands operating across multiple countries along with retail groups with multinational interests, analysts and market research firms."
The countries covered by Cogenta's multinational platform are: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. and the U.S. The company said that new countries can be added upon request.
