Jewelry retailer YLANG 23 brings in-store experience online

MarketLive has announced that YLANG 23, a favorite among Hollywood celebrities and fashionistas, is relaunching its online retail commerce website on MarketLive's SaaS platform. According to the companies, a key reason for choosing MarketLive is the ability to mimic the in-store shopping experience — including YLANG 23's well-regarded jewelry trunk shows and stellar customer service.

YLANG 23 was founded in Dallas in 1985, and the company has since grown to have customers all over the world by focusing on original collections by top jewelry designers including Cathy Waterman, Irene Neuwirth, and Jennifer Meyer.

The company said it has also long believed in the power of e-commerce, launching a website store for the first time in 2002. YLANG 23 now generates more than 40 percent of its revenues from its online store and ships internationally. A recent move of the brick and mortar store, incorporating a new look and feel reminiscent of Paris-apartment-meets-Soho-loft, prompted YLANG 23 to reinvent itself online as well, upgrading to cutting edge design with best in class technology.

"We evaluated several e-commerce technologies and felt that MarketLive had the best fit for our particular business," said Alysa Teichman, director of e-commerce with YLANG 23. "Our customers buy high end jewelry on our website, so we need to mimic the flawless customer service and special brand experience they receive in-store. We love the MarketLive platform and the fact that it allows our team to be able to make changes easily without developer resources. The baked-in strategy offerings and specialization in medium-sized businesses is icing on the cake."
