New survey app rewards consumers as it tracks their behavior

TrendSource Inc., a market research company, announced the launch of an interactive mobile survey app, wINput (Win By Giving Your Input), which is now available for Apple and Android users.

wINput was developed by TrendSource as a research tool designed to collect information from consumers in an interactive way, according to a press release. wINput users can share their preferences, perceptions and experiences with an engaged community while having opportunities to win prizes for their input. TrendSource uses the data to identify market trends and help clients understand consumers.

wINput had the first of its weekly prize drawings last week, where five app users were randomly selected and received gift cards. In addition to weekly prize drawings, wINput users have the chance to win a grand prize at the end of each month, typically something in the electronics category. The more surveys and "Casual Questions" completed, the better the chances are of winning a prize, the announcement said.

"As a company with proprietary technology and progressive thinkers, we knew we had to take our mobile application development capability to another level," said TrendSource Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jana De Anda. "wINput allows us to engage with real customers to develop comparisons and standards in target industries. Long-term, this will allow us to support our clients in strategy development based on knowledge of trends in their industries."
