Target and Co.Labs choose retail accelerator winner

A winner has been named in the Co.Labs and Target Retail Accelerator contest. According to an article on nytimes.com, the grand prize went to a group of seven people who work at TBWA/Chiat/Day and TBWA Worldwide in New York, part of the Omnicom Group, and competed on their own, separate from the agencies, under the name Team Pilot.

The team came up with an application called Divvy, meant to improve the group shopping experience by enabling several people to update a shopping list in real time and making it easier to divide the bill and receipts. The group will receive $75,000 and a chance to have their entry brought to life on Target's mobile app.
