Volusion Inc. has announced a new integration with Stripe for the Volusion platform, which is designed to offer its small to medium-sized merchants an affordable, low barrier to entry option to accept payments across the globe.

According to the company, Stripe allows users of the Volusion platform to seamlessly process major international debit or credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB. This integration provides merchants a consistent checkout experience for their stores both online and via mobile devices.

"Launching this integration with Stripe is a win for merchants using the Volusion platform, as it further expands their choices for payment processing," said Clay Olivier, CEO, Volusion. "This new feature reinforces our commitment to providing best-in-class tools to our merchants looking to expand their store domestically and internationally, along with providing an impressive customer experience from desktop and mobile devices."

Stripe currently supports businesses in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Ireland, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Finland and Spain, meaning that Volusion merchants in these countries can accept payments from anywhere in the world. The integration is designed to provide seamless setup and management, both for new and existing Stripe users.
