Mini CAT5 VGA Extender Kit capabilities/features:

Say good-bye to bulky, expensive, and difficult-to-terminate VGA cable. The Mini CAT5 VGA Extender enables you to use ordinary CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable to connect a video monitor up to 500 feet (152.4 m) from your PC or signage source.
The low-cost kit has single-channel extenders for sending video signals over CAT5 UTP links. With it, you get a transmitter and a receiver unit, which work together to extend video. It supports maximum resolutions of 1600 x 1200 at 300 feet (91.4 m) and 1280 x 1024 at 500 feet (152.4 m).
The transmitter-extender combo only requires a single power supply, which can be plugged in at either end of the link—whichever side is most convenient for you.
Also available: a Mini CAT5 Component Video Extender Kit (AC504A-CP), as well as other Mini CAT5 Video Extender solutions, including individual VGA transmitters (standalone and wallplate versions) and individual VGA receivers (standalone and wallplate versions).
