mGuard is an independent system which can be inserted between the ATM and the network cable or integrated as a PCI card, if desired. In principle, mGuard products can be installed by any employee. The ATM does not have to be reconfigured and no driver units or software have to be loaded. What’s more, the operating system of the ATM never has to be updated again with security patches. This saves a good deal on costs for implementation, administration and management while enabling the highest level of permanent security. It is also inconsequential which operating system or computer platform the ATM runs with, for mGuard technology is compatible with all systems.
