He focuses on the Customer Experience by mapping out the consumer journey and path-to-purchase within brick and mortar retail. Known as an empathetic mind-reader, he analyzes what the consumer is thinking and feeling before, during and after their retail experience. Gavin made the switch from the advertising world to the retail industry a few years prior to 2010, and demonstrated his creative capabilities within retail as a creative director for a company similar to Harbor before coming onboard. His generalist point-of-view helps him empathize with client requests and work within the parameters of the company and client alike. Outside of the office, Gavin enjoys spending time with his children doing anything from building outlandish couch forts to doling out the infamous “Draw 2” card in Uno.
