Raydiant, a digital signage and experience management platform provider, has found that 75.4% of customers have used some form of buy online and pick up in store program in the last 12 months, according to its State of BOPIS 2021 Report. The company surveyed 1,000 U.S. customers for the report, according to a press release.

Out of the respondents, 56% said they used BOPIS six or more times in the past year, with 8.2% having used it 20 times or more. In addition, 34.3% said they would use it more frequently if retailers brought the items to their vehicle.

"Consumer behavior and expectations have changed dramatically over the past year and brick-and-mortar retailers will need to adapt in order to survive and thrive in the years ahead," Bobby Marhamat, CEO of Raydiant, said in the release. "Offering BOPIS is a great way to give consumers what they want by delivering a more seamless the in-location experience."
