Retail brand Abercrombie & Fitch is the focus of a Netflix documentary that spotlights the retailer's history from the late 1990s and a controversy involving marketing and hiring.
The film, debuting April 19 on the streaming service, offers insight from former associates, brand leaders and models, according to a People report.
The brand was "selling a potent mix of sex and wholesomeness," Netflix stated in a release, but then complaints began being lodged regarding its demographic focus.
"Exclusion was the root of their success," according to the film's trailer. "Abercrombie rooted themselves in discrimination at every single level. There's a reason people liked that brand. Exclusion is part of our society."
