Accenture buys up ?What If!

As part of its strategy to help clients reinvent and take an experimentation-focused approach, Accenture is acquiring ?What If!, a U.K.-based innovation firm.

The acquisition, according to a press release, will enhance Accenture's front-end innovation capabilities that help clients rapidly create, prototype and scale products and services for the digital economy. The terms were not disclosed.

"With digital technologies converging, consumer expectations rising, and businesses under constant pressure to stay ahead of the digital curve, the only path forward is constant innovation to ensure flexibility and agility across every business function," said Eric Schaeffer, a senior managing director at Accenture, in the release.
