Artificial intelligence has moved out of the experimental phase and is now foundational, according to Solink's "State of AI in Retail" report.
The data shows AI adoption has surged and is transforming retail operations, workforce efficiency and customer experience.
Solink provides AI-driven video intelligence. Its report was based on a survey of 150 retail leaders across the U.S., U.K. and Canada.
"The data is clear: AI is no longer experimental in retail, it's foundational," Michael Scott, CMO, Solink, said in a press release. "Retailers are moving fast to unify video, data, and AI so they can operate more efficiently, reduce loss, and deliver safer, more consistent customer experiences. Solink is proud to help lead that transformation."
The report revealed more than 80% of retailers already budgeting for AI and 86% planning to increase spending over the next 12 months.
