Amazon is exploring potential physical retail locations to deal with unsold inventory but the strategies are on hold due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The mega e-tailer is reportedly looking at opening home goods and electronic storefronts as inventory channels, according to a Bloomberg report.
The e-commerce giant's strategies, which Bloomberg attributed to two people familiar with the plans, also include potential pop-ups at mall and parking lot locations. Amazon, according to the news report, declined to comment on the physical retail approach.
