The pandemic isn't stemming hiring at Amazon as the e-tailer aims to add 3,500 jobs in six cities.
The staffing will be happening in Dallas, New York City, Detroit, Denver, San Diego and Phoenix, according to a CNBC report.
The hiring spree is part of a $1.4 billion office space expansion, according to the report.
The news comes on the heels of Amazon scooping up retail space in New York's Manhattan, buying up the Lord & Taylor building. It also is leasing space at the Hudson Yards retail site.
