Amazon Prime Day may happen in October

The coronavirus pandemic is prompting Amazon to once again reschedule its annual Prime Day shopping event.

The latest new date is reportedly Oct. 5 and the reschedule is one of several the leading online retailer has set for its biggest shopping day of the year, according to a CNBC report. It first postponed the annual July event to September due to COVID-19. The October date has not been officially confirmed by Amazon.
