Amazon has reportedly been piloting a service this past year in which Amazon Flex drivers pick up orders at malls and deliver them to consumers.
The service is aimed at shoppers wanting same-day shipping, according to a Bloomberg report.
A "handful" of Amazon existing partner retailers are involved but Amazon declined to provide specifics, according to Bloomberg.
"This is just another way we are able to connect Amazon sellers with customers via convenient delivery options," spokesperson Lauren Samaha told Bloomberg in an emailed statement.
