Best Buy is gearing up for the holiday season with confidence, given some robust sales achievements.
The electronics retailer, according to a CNBC report, enjoyed a 23.7 percent boost in online sales in its fiscal second quarter. It was also the company's second consecutive quarter of growth. Digital sales, according to the report, account for 11 percent of Best Buy's revenue. The growth reflects a 75 percent boost in online revenue over the last three years, according to a ZDNet report.
"We see growth opportunities, frankly, across the business," CEO Hubert Joly told CNBC, stating the growth was due to fashioning a more streamlined product delivery strategy, quicker checkout and better product recommendation to consumers.
"We are encouraged by our execution and the momentum in our business," Joly said, according to ZDNet.
