Buc-ee’s may be landing in Oklahoma

Buc-ee's is reportedly looking to open its first store in Oklahoma.

The c-store gas station retailer is reportedly in talks with the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, according to a News 9 report.

"Like many other businesses, we've had preliminary exploratory discussions with the company, but no decisions have been made," Kenny Tsoodle, CEO of the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, told the news outlet.

In 2024 the company indicated it was considering launching in Oklahoma but Buc-cee's has not made any statement regarding the potential store since then.

Reportedly the new store would be located at I-40 and Cimarron Road, just west of Oklahoma City, according to News 9.

The closest stores to Oklahoma are in Texas and Missouri.

Buc-ee's is currently the world's largest convenience store given a Texas store that is 75,593 square feet, and a Florida store set to open in 2027 that will be that footprint and be 76,245 square feet.
