Callison acquires RYA Design Consultancy

NEW YORK — Callison LLC has acquired RYA Design Consultancy, a US-based architecture and design firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas and with an office in New York City.

The new "Callison RYA Studio" will merge staff and clients into Callison's existing retail practice at their Dallas and New York offices.

"Combined, Callison and RYA represent the strongest, award-winning retail design practice for renowned global brands," said Callison president John Bierly. "Together we can provide a full retail consultancy for clients around the world — concept and prototype design, multiple project delivery, branding, graphics, merchandising and real estate strategies among other services — as well as helping to position our store clients as potential tenants through Callison's design work on mixed-use retail centers around the world."

RYA specializes in retail design for US and international department store and specialty retail brands. Their clients include Printemps, Palacio de Hierro, Rustans, Parkson and Shinsegae.
