Claire’s closing stores, heading for bankruptcy

Teen jewelry and accessories retailer Claire’s is filing for bankruptcy and aims to shutter 92 stores.

The Chapter 11 filing states the store closures are part of a financial and debt restructure and the company aims to keep remaining stores open, according to a Newsday report. The impending store closures will take place in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
