Coles pilots online ordering, pick-up service

According to Business Spectator, Australian supermarket chain Coles is expanding its online retail shopping platform to include "Click & Connect," which allows customers to order goods online and then pick them up.

The company is utilizing its 620 petrol stations as pick-up points. The service is currently available at several station locations in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Northern Territory, New South Wales and Western Australia. 

Coles' entire line of products will be available for purchase and pick-up. However, the company has said the service is still in its trial period, and may or may not be permanent. 

Coles also offers home and business delivery services.
