Consumers want coupons, most not happy about economy

More than half, 63% of U.S. consumers feel extremely or somewhat negative about the economy and 54% are looking for coupons, sales and promotions to save money and half, 50%, are cutting spend on non-essential items and activities.

Those are recent findings from a Numerator data report on consumer behavior and the economy.

When it comes to the future, 48% have a positive outlook for 2023, while 29% are neutral and 23% have a negative outlook.
