Convenience boosts online shopping

Toy News (U.K.): Online spending by consumers on retail purchases increased by 35 percent to almost $29 billion in 2007, according to Verdicts' report, "UK e-retail 2008." Similarly, the number of online shoppers increased by 24.7 percent to 22.6 million, with shoppers also purchasing more regularly. Out of the 4.059 adults surveyed, more than half said their main reason for shopping online was its convenience.
