Costco limiting toilet paper, water, cleaning items

The ongoing retail supply chain issues plaguing retailers, auto dealers and the home construction industry is driving wholesale retailer Costco to limit items including water, cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper.

The limit is typically four of each item, according to a Best Life report.

The rationing on purchases was announced last week during an investor call.

The supply chain challenges have also prompted the wholesale retailer to start chartering ships to get goods faster, according to the report.
