CVS aims to redesign pharmacy focus

CVS will shutter 900 drugstores in the next three years as a first step to revamping its store format to become much more a health services location.

The news comes three years after the drugstore chain acquired Aetna, a health insurance giant.

The store revamp is about creating health hubs within CVS locations that provide services for chronic care, according to a Reuters report.
