The latest retailer to reduce staff as the coronavirus continues to wreck havoc on the economy is Dick's Sporting Goods.
The retailer will furlough nearly 40,000 workers and retain a small staff to fulfill online orders, according to a New York Post report
The action was detailed in a SEC filing, and the retailer said none of its 800 locations will be opening in the near future.
