E-gift cards pretty popular this holiday season

One of the notable trends for the 2021 holiday season is consumer love for the e-gift card.

In fact gift cards are getting lots of attention overall with a 114% increase in purchases between November and mid December, according to data released by Square, a payments provider.

The Square insight also reported that consumers are still valuing the store experience and, when it comes to online shopping, consumers are hitting cosmetic stores and antique stores.
