EBay vending machine awards luxury handbags to trivia contest winners

EBay has installed vending machines, featuring designer handbags, at its marketplace in Dumbo, Brooklyn and Silver Lake, Los Angeles, according to a press release.

The machines, which have an eBay logo on the front, awarded handbags to winners of a luxury handbag trivia game at the Brooklyn and Los Angeles locations Wednesday and Thursday.

Participants had a chance to win one of six handbags displayed in each machine.

Consumers outside of New York and Los Angeles are also eligible to win by visiting eBay's Instagram or Twitter channels to enter an online/social media giveaway. The contest ends on Monday at 11:59 p.m.

Winners will be selected at random.
