The good news continues for the retail industry as the U.S. economy grew at a rate of 2.6 percent in the last three months of 2017.
It was spurred by the fastest consumer spending since spring the year prior, according to a New York Daily news report, citing an AP article, and a big factor was a rebound in home construction. The Commerce Department figures reveal that for the entire year of 2017, the growth rate was 2.3 percent.
