Fetch Rewards taps David Sommer as chief customer leader

Consumer rewards company Fetch Rewards has named David Sommer as the company's first chief customer officer.

Sommer brings a wide range of experience to the role as he was formerly head of industry at Facebook's parent company, Meta Platforms Inc., and involved with top clients including Walmart, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

In his role Sommer will direct product development and lead strategies such as expanding marketing to expand the company's partnership and consumer base.

Fetch Rewards, founded nine years ago, allows consumers to earn rewards from more than one company without signing up for each company's program.
