Fleet Farm, a Midwestern retail chain of merchandise and services, will leverage Engage3's cloud- and mobile-based price management solution to enable expanded omnichannel visibility and analytics, according to a press release.
Engage3's ML-powered product linking capabilities provide contextualized visibility linking the retailer's unique item assortment to each competitors' equivalent items at the localized market level. The solution will allow Fleet Farm to leverage the contextualized item catalogue to track its price position and identify risks and opportunities to improve its price image.
"Engage3 has pricing expertise and cutting-edge science and technology capabilities that align perfectly with Fleet Farm's pricing strategy and our roadmap for success," Randy Mangum, Fleet Farm's senior director of pricing and data integrity, said in the press release.
The solution is in use at six of the 10 largest retailers in North America.
By combining in-store data collection, online webscrapes and ad-hoc data collection within the Missions app, retailers can see store- level pricing for all of their competitors.
