Deliv has announced that Foot Locker will offer shoppers on its Footlocker.com website the option to have their purchases delivered same-day using Deliv's crowdsourced delivery service.
According to the companies, Foot Locker will leverage Deliv's application programming interface, which connects directly into the Footlocker.com website. Shoppers can select same-day or next-day delivery for $5. Customers will also have the option of shopping in the Foot Locker store and having their items delivered to a local destination of their choice.
Foot Locker will extend its existing "buy online, pick up in store" capability to launch the service initially at five stores in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, before rolling out across its network of more than 1,300 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Deliv will eventually be rolled out across all of Foot Locker, Inc.'s other brands, including Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Footaction.
