Foot Locker taps former Ulta chief as CEO

Foot Locker Inc. has named Mary Dillon, former chief executive for Ulta Beauty Inc., as its next CEO.

Dillon will take on her new role as of Sept. 1, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

She replaces Richard Johnson who is retiring but will remain as executive chairman through Jan. 31, 2023. He will then become a senior adviser to Dillon through April.

Foot Locker has 2,800 stores in 28 countries.
