Gordman Stores files bankruptcy papers

Gordman Stores, a home furnishings and clothing retailer, is heading into bankruptcy after filing for Chapter 11 this week in Nebraska.

The retailer, according to a Market Watch report, operates over 100 stores across 22 states. Store locations will remain open during the liquidation sale process, according to the report.
