Great Clips salons open for business in every US state

With the openings of salons in Maine, Louisiana and Vermont this year, Great Clips will have a presence in each U.S. state, which was a prime focus for the year.

"Extending our presence to all 50 states was a central goal of ours for 2020," said Steve Hockett, CEO of Great Clips, Inc. in a press release. "While it's been a year of uncertainty and significant changes, we're excited that we've reached our 50-state goal by working together with our franchisees, and that we continue to expand our market presence across the U.S. and Canada."

The growth strategy comes amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which drove the salon brand to launch ReadyNext text alerts, which help customers make the most of their wait time. The alerts notify customers once their estimated wait time reaches 15 minutes, so they can head to the salon for their service.
